Nanih Waiya Mound is also called "Mother Mound" and "Heart of the Choctaw People". It is one of their sacred sites and is associated with the Nanih Waiya Cave which is nearby. It is located northeast of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Reservstion, near Philadelphia, Mississippi.
