Various photographs I took on May 14, 2016 at Etowah Mounds, Chieftains or Major Ridge's House, Vann Cabin, Cedartown Removal site, and Cherokee Gardens. Etowah Mounds is a major archaeological site site in Georgia which is special for the Cherokee. The Chieftain's House was once Major Ridge's house. The Vann cabin is another Cherokee site. Cedartown is one of the places where Cherokees were forcibly moved before they were sent on the Trail of Tears. The Cherokee Gardens at the Green Meadows Preserve is a place where a gardening groups grows plants which the historical Cherokee either grew or used.
