The ranger is explaining the lottery system. There are 36 people here hoping to get one of only ten hiking permits to go out to The Wave tomorrow. Every group gets a numbered ball, like a Bingo game. My number is 14. In Januray, there was one day when almost 200 people were here for the same daily drawing.
