This is the last remaining Live Oak tree of the 14 known as the Treaty Oaks or Council Oaks. The tree is believed to be 500 to 600 years old. many treaties and group councils were held here over the centuries. It is on the edge of downtown Austin. - Treaty Oak - Austin, Texas -
